To want to hurt my Dh alot

I know i am, i am 20 weeks pg with DC3 who we have just found out is a boy we have 2 DDs so this is lovely.

The only thing is we cannot agree on a name, i come up with names he says NO and then says stupid names. Its realy bugging me more then it would ordinarily so hormones i think.

I LOVE the name Johnny because my grandad was John, he died earlier this yr and he was a great man i just realy want this name but DH wont have it which i think is unreasonable because it means alot to me.

So IABU arent i and can anyone give names suggestions we nee more ideas, i would like a tradional name as both DDs are.

How about you make a list of names you like, DH makes a list of names he like and when the baby's here or when you are in labour, you decide together. Baby doesn't need a name just yet. I refused to discuss names while I was pregnant as I knew then DH would ask random people if they liked it or not and just get given their favourite names.

You seem to like the nicknamey versions of names - johnny, freddie - maybe he likes the more trad versions? They can be a wee bit babyish IMHO

I like Johnny and thomas so i'm no help but here are some more.

Adam, Daniel, George, Samuel, Peter, Joseph, Matthew, James, Michael.

Possibly some other people do the same.

And obviously YABVVVU to want to hurt your DH because you can't decide on a name. Especially when you are 20 weeks to go.

Don't throw a hormonal fit afterwards, he does have the right to an opinion. Wouldn't it sour things for you knowing he didn't like/want the name?
