Excellent choice Mistressploopy. I recommend Nivana for the most awesome game of Pass the Parcel - Smells like teen spirit, Lithium etc - the kids loved it !

cheerful ditty Grin. Apparently the time after decapitation a human head responds to stimuli. Confused

I'd play Frigid Vinegar's wonderful . Kids of all ages love it. The loaded bananas line amuses anyone 2 and up, it is dancy enough for 1 year olds, and older children love spotting the samples and cultural references. Like a D&B Half Man Half Biscuit. But not as good.

99% of gargoyles look like Bob Todd Grin and All I want for Christmas is a Dukla Prague away kit Grin oooo I'd forgotten Half Man Half Biscuit! Thanks Hedley Grin
My youngest loves those vile bloody gummi bear songs :( (In spite of the Cure T shirt) They all like Guns n Roses though, and The Levellers and The Men They Couldn't Hang.

Vallhala · 07/10/2011 23:31

Ramones, Dexys, Soft Cell, fellow Jam fans... I'm happy! :o

BadDayAtTheOrifice · 07/10/2011 23:35

Only if its that catterpillar girl one. Definately not lullaby.

limitedperiodonly · 07/10/2011 23:53

Close To You is my favourite.

Did you not explain Albert Camus to your Saudi acquaintances pombear ? I guess it's not a nation universally known for its subtlety.

PomBearAtTheGatesOfDawn · 08/10/2011 00:08

I never got chance, we were "just the YTS kids" and they were grown ups (early 20s) and paying students... that said, one of them did invite my friend and I to afternoon tea, and bought us cream cakes and a big box of Milk Tray because he knew it wasn't our fault and we hadn't meant anything. Grin

limitedperiodonly · 08/10/2011 00:19

I expect he'd heard that decadent Western girls could be easily bought with cakes pom.

I hope you made it clear we'd do it for nothing less than real cream.

It was gin for me.

Not at all. DS and I love to bounce around to Close to Me. And pretend to play trumpets at the end.his favourite song at the moment is 'Leg of Lamb' by QOTSA, for some strange reason.

BertieBotts · 08/10/2011 02:01

Was at a 3year old's party the other day and the entire playlist was 90s hits. Think it was aimed more at the parents Grin

Camelscantdance · 08/10/2011 07:20

I live in the Middle East and put my car in for sevice. Was half way home when realised the CD in player had Killing an Arab on it.Was so worried would start playing i had to go all the way back to take it out.Fire in Cairo my favoret.

mistressploppy · 08/10/2011 08:43

Forgot about Guns n Roses. I'll have to put some on the list so DH doesn't complain. DS is named after a band member so it's essential really!
