to be really irritated that DH has passed on his love of pickled onions to DS?

I have just got a whiff of pickled onion breath from my DS - he's been helping himself to DH's jar in fridge. DH has a fondness for some of my food-related pet hates: piccalilli, the aforementioned, licquorice and HP sauce - all revolting. Can't bear the thought of others indulging in my household.. or am I just being a food snob?

theghost yes there is something faintly vomity about Quavers which obviously flies below the radar of some children's tastebuds. And Zukie as for baby beets, don't get me started.....

We currently have 5 jars of pickled peppers in our cupboard.

Not really sure why. DH bought a jar, decided he really liked them and then embarked on a mission to buy lots of them. They are lovely. But surely we only need 1 jar!

If they are those Spanish red peppers, my dh buys them and then whizzes them up with coriander red chilli a bit of lime and dash of olive oil and eats them with corn chips (and then forgets to rinse out food blender) I think he got it from Nigella.
