I have spent the last 4 weeks sat in the living room, with the big lights on, as I just can't relax with my usual lovely soft lighting......my spider sensors are on full alert!
They pretty much consistently come in and promptly get sucked up the hoover if DH is working away.
I feel like I've spent night after night, checking out each room as I enter it, to make sure none are about. I don't like having my windows open at night at this time of year, but because it's so bloody hot, I have no option - eekkk!
I am 39 wks pg, and hope to have a homebirth - having visions of the evil bastards scuttling across the floor and giving me a fright mid-contraction - maybe this will cure my phobia!
Newly fitted brown wooden floor has made spotting them much harder aswell...
Truly hate them - they are vile and I don't care if they eat flies/wasps - they are just wrong, wrong, wrong....
Am now itchy and even more anxious than usual - what a woose
