So upto a week ago my usual daily diet was:

Breakfast - Bowl of Wheetos/Coco Pops
Snack - packet of crisps
Lunch - sandwich with a chocolate bun
Snack - Milky Way cake bar
Dinner - Something breadcrumbed with chips and beans
Evening - something chocolate

At this point I weighed 10st 4lbs

I decided to eat healthier in a bid to feel better and perhaps lose weight.

So from a week ago my diet changed to
Breakfast - Bowl of shredded wheat
Snack - Plum
Lunch - boiled egg and salad in a weight watchers pitta bread
Snack - Satsuma
Dinner - Fish with vegetables with low fat yogurt for afterwards

I'm now 3lbs heavier. WFT am I doing wrong? I'm so annoyed by this.

New diet is much better so that's great. If you eat fewer calories than you expend on ei ther diet you'll lose weight. Look at your drinks.

Breakfast - Bowl of shredded wheat - perhaps change this to something like eggs and brown bread as wheat may not be great and shredded wheat s a kind of processed food but not as bad as some.

Snack - Plum - if you've eaten enough at breakfast you may not need this snack and fruit is afterall a hit of sugar ie fructose

Lunch - boiled egg and salad in a weight watchers pitta bread - avoid weight loss products as they pack them will all sorts of fake stuff. Perhaps avoid the wheat and have brown rice instead. Make sure you eat enough protein - one egg doesn't sound like enough.

Snack - Satsuma - again much better than the previous chocolate but still sugar/fructose.
Dinner - Fish with vegetables with low fat yogurt for afterwards - ditch the yoghurt - low fat means chemicals etc added and dairy isn't always great for everyone and have some carb with the dinner.

Watch your portion size with cereal even the healthy ones, also if your eating fruit remember it has lots of sugar in it.
