To be sick of constant demands!!!

Ds (16months) is standing on the couch demanding the night garden.
To be honest his constant demands for food, water, toys and tv are becoming overwhelming.
If he doesn't get the night garden soon he's gonna throw his tractor at me. He is strong for a baby too ?

Should I leave him?
There must be another child out there desperate for a mother like me??

?

He owns a tractor?? And is going to throw it at you??? Is your child green and 7 foot tall by any chance?

If it's something necessary, such as a drink of water, provide it; if it's something that seems like a good idea, such as reading a story, provide it; if it's just a demand, say no. If he's only 16 months, every request is going to soundlike a demand. Look at the context. However, don't let him turn into a little tyrant.

I am talking ?

(I have lots of funny pictures!!)

Of course I'm not going to leave him!! But it seems the normal answer in AIBU
Giggling at the thought of a jolly green giant baby ?

Thanks for the advice though ? he really is ridiculously demanding and I am too pregnant to move Blush

There's a thread in Site Stuff with a link to an explanation. Another poster has used them too.

I am grumpy but I find it very annoying. Are the blinking hordes of emoticons we have already not enough now?

PIMSoclock · 23/09/2011 16:18

I'm posting from my iPhone, they are my text emoticons

Yes I am that sad, please don't ?me!!!

my ds tried the repettive, but i just said no, and dont ask me again.

even now she has a go... not often.... and i just say 'no and dont ask me again' but if she asks again again after i've said this we have a little chat because then there is a bit more goning on.

ConstanceNoring · 23/09/2011 16:25

How come I'm only seeing squares and not these unusual faces? I'm on a Mac and OP is on an iPhone, - they're like family..

PIMSoclock · 23/09/2011 16:25

I should only buy him softer toys, the plastic ones are bloody sore!!

Ormirian · 23/09/2011 16:32

Hmm.... a bit too strongly flavoured. Try vodka.

kelly2000 · 23/09/2011 16:46

Get a sheepdog to keep him in line.
