my dp went shopping today and came back with a packet of TRILL budgie seed which begs the question what does he need this for? i have asked him and he is being cagey about it !!! what other weird things have your lovely partners come home with that are totally out of the box?

Years ago, my Mum read that canary feed contains dye. Eg: green seed makes budgies green etc. My Dad was a bit too fond of stopping off at the pub on his way home in those days, so she bought a load of yellow seed, ground it up and hid it in his Swede on a Sunday. I think she was hoping to convince him his liver was on its way out! He never did go yellow, but we had lots of giggles at his expense, particularly if he went off to work whistling in the mornings!

Does he cook? I thought about buying budgie food because a recipe called for millet seed and Asda didn't have it (I just left it out in the end).
