Kids at school, house is reasonable and I'm a lazy bitch?

I just got up to make myself a fishfinger and mayonnaise sandwich.

And got back into bed to eat it.

Heaven.

Well that was famous last words from me - after 2 HOURS in the hospital, followed by another 2&1/2 hours of fuckwittery from various pharmacies and hardware store staff, I am FINALLY on the bus home. With a bag of chips. Which I will shovel down my neck before diving back under my duvet. Housework's all done and DH not due in for another 3 hours, I'm gonna make those 3 hours count!

I am so jealous. I am logged on now because I worked damn hard this morning and got up at 6am to:
change bedding
do 2 loads of washing
1 basket of ironing
clean lounge
clean kitchen
clean out fish
walk DS1 to school
take DS2 to Doctors.
go to local shops
ensure builders have a stash of biscuits.

I am enjoying sitting on my bum

I know have a lovely cup of tea. Ds at book club after school. So another hour.

Doing it the other way round today. Work till 4.30pm, home to cook DS and myself some dinner. Jammy's on then bed to watch TV. DS will probably join me about 8 after fiddling on Facebook. Bliss!

nothing slatternly about it, especially if you get up, tidy round, make a pasta bake for tea later and put it in the fridge, change bed have a nice bubbly bath, then get into bed with a good book and relax.... mmm a perfect day, and cos of the minimal work done earlier, no guilt and no one will ever know unless you tell mn

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo envious. Probably won't have a day like that until I retire.
