To be really annoyed with Tempest?

They've photoshopped my DD's school photo!!!!

Why? Why?

They've taken off her freckles and everything, she looks like a blooming waxwork...

Why would I want a photo that doesn't actually look like her? And what sort of message dies that give her?

Is it me? Would anyone want a photo like that?

Here's ma dear old Momma in the Over 80s section.

I've just looked at our last Tempest school photo and it looks kind of OK if a bit reddish - but both boys are ginger so maybe they upped the red to make the ginger less obvious, that or the birthmark :) (STIC). DH did say that DS1's birthmark looked far less obvious than in RL when we got them though.

I'm really looking forward to joint school photo on Friday this week now (by Tempest), it will be first time that DS1 and DS2 are together at same school - DS1 has a pretty dominant & disfiguring red facial birthmark, freckles and ginger hair - he wants them to photo-shop him to look like someone from One Direction (doesn't care which one) and apparently he's going to tell them that they can't get rid of his birthmark! The last one was ok, if anything had been done it was subtle enough that I've not noticed, lol.

This one doesn't look like her, that's why it's bothered me.

She doesn't like it either, she says she looks funny in it, she's told me I'm not to buy it. Which I'm glad about, I have moaned to her before about airbrushing in adverts and things - so something must have sunk in, lol

We've had some lovely photos from Tempest, but they definitely do some touching up, or adjusting. DS's skin looks much smoother and even coloured than in real life.

Temptes are rubbish and rip off i was going to spend £300 for some large prints for myself and family members who wanted 2 . I wanted 5 of the 6 images on USB but they want £40 for 3 images and then have to pay another £40 if i want the other 2 they will not add the extra 2 images to the 3 on one usb i think this is disgusting and no longer purchaing these phots but they would rathr loose the £300 than save 2 images that takes minutes

They took my DD's freckles off too and gave her a really bronzed skintone. It looked like she had a full face of foundation on, and she is normally fair skinned. Gorgeous pic but I don't see why they need to photoshop childrens' pics!

you're a liar! I asked for photoshopping and was told by Tempest that they NEVER alter a photograph unless instructed to do so and at a set fee!!! As much as I would have loved to have had some skin blemishes removed Tempest won't do it unless you pay... so you are a liar
