I always take my little lamb for a walk in the bugaboo about 11 as it gets her to sleep and gets some exercise for me to help get rid of my bubbaflubba!

we live near a park on a hil and quiet often I'll stop and have a sit down on a bench to admire the view while she sleeps.

yesterday I had taken a coffee and some home made florentines (naughty I know lol) and was enjoying a peaceful moment wgeb rhe traffic starts building up. as I was sitting there gently rocking the pram a van slowly comes through the traffic with music blaring out. Angry

I was highly visible sitting their, minding my own business, I think he should have turned it down out of respect of me and my lo, it took ages for him to pass as he was stuck in a jam.

grrr.

His van was all labelled up with a local firms details(one that I frequent a lot!).

WIBU to phone them to remind him to have consideration for the general public, especially those with prams?

nobody wants to have somebody elses choice of music hoisted upon them do they?

MiseryBusiness · 20/09/2011 12:14

How did the lamb feel about the music?

This thread has cheered me up no end! :)

StuckUpTheFarawayTree · 20/09/2011 12:15

God I love Florentines. Jealous Envy

booyhoo · 20/09/2011 12:15

thank you thank you thank you for this!!!

i was settling into grumpy form today but this has got me holding my sides with laughter in agreement Grin

dont worry OP little lambs are used to hearing big tractors and farm machinery so i imagine it felt quite at home (apart from being in a baby's pram of courseHmm

JuneChollySawcutt · 20/09/2011 12:16

Op, is your name Mary?........ You have a lamb!

never be caught shirt with no roast of a Sunday!

kat2504 · 20/09/2011 12:19

Those florentines will do no good for the bubbaflubba!

is the paediatrician doing any investigations into why you have given birth to a farm animal? Is it because you were the one person not to follow the strange sounding advice to pregnant women to stay away from sheep at lambing time? Now I know what the risks are I will take this advice more seriously!

Your pram needs some sort of GPS device so it can show up half a mile in advance on van drivers' sat navs. A bit like speed cameras do.

Robotindisguise · 20/09/2011 12:19

Very funny

MollyTheMole · 20/09/2011 12:20

Was your little lamb one of these?

LadyBeagleEyes · 20/09/2011 12:30

What music was the van driver playing.
Hungry like the wolef?
That would upset a little lamb for sure.

Realgonkid · 20/09/2011 12:31

huh?

doesn't everyone have a pet name for their los?

OP posts:
worraliberty · 20/09/2011 12:31

Perhaps it was the Lamb-baa-da Wink

consideringhomeed · 20/09/2011 12:32

Little lamb will be scarred for life.

Grin

But not by the van driver. By the mother who calls her child 'little lamb'!!!
