Umm, one of grey with squirrels on and the other is black with great snowflakes on.

We pool socks in our house, there is a massive basket of them in the laundry cupboard and its every man for himself wrt matchingness.

I went from wearing flip-flops for school run this morning to socks (black) and boots for work in a reluctant acknowledgement that summer is gone.

Those who contend that black socks make pairing easier - where am I going wrong? I have an odd sock basket full of black socks which don't quite match - same with DS's grey school socks - all the same brand, all bought at the same time, and yet we now have more shades of grey than we have pairs of socks

One is all black, one is black with purple stripey toes and heels. I need to do some washing, and this is the best pair I could make up from all the singletons this morning!
