To treat my children differently this weekend

I am truly undecided.

DD 9th, is invited to friend's chalet for the weekend. It is the second time she has done this. Last winter she went skiing. This time they want to go to an adventure swimming pool.

DS 7yo is not invited.

I don't know whether to let her go, as I feel that it is unfair for DS.

We would do something interesting with him.

Just to say my DD is a couple of years older than my DS - and does seem to have a better social life than DS
Hopefully his will pick up over the next few years (as DD's has), but I do wonder slightly whether I might need to make more effort to consolidate friendships for him, compared to what has come so naturally with DD as PFB ! Blush
Trouble is to make matters worse all his friends seem to be moving house, or even leaving the country Sad - I'm sure we didn't treat them that badly Grin

DS isn't actually that bothered, and does have friends but they are not quite so adventurous, ie. not keen on sleepovers yet. DS is very independent and would love to be going on trips with friends, but it is not happening yet.

Anyhow, we told them that DD would be going and she is sooooo excited. Wish I were going for a weekend in a chalet too.

Thanks all, for knocking some sense into me showing me that I am was BU.

Let her go. I have 3 DDs abs they all had different friends and dis different things when they were growing up. DD1 went to lots if sleepiness and DD3 only went to a couple. Your children can't always do the same thing and you should not expect tour DD's friends to invite tour DS or his invitee her.
