The Danish version is quite simply the best show that's been on the telly in eons. So yes, YABU. Sarah Lunds jumpers surely have their own trailer between shots...

I love the fact it's as much about the characters as the story. I adore Holder (US). I love his laid back but caring persona.

Dandy, I thought that (about writing it.) What a fantastic thing to write. Can you imagine the writer's notes before even starting to write it? I'd love to see an interview with him where he describes how/when the idea came to him and whether the initial idea matched the end result.

The Killing (Danish version) was abso-bloody-lutely THE most briliantest and best-thing on TV ever.

(Personally I thought the American version was a tad disappointing.)

I'm on my second viewing of the Danish one and enjoying it as much as the first time around.

Eleanor - thanks for the tip! Ploughed straight into episodes 3&4 of Spiral 1 last night, and picked it up ok. (no time for iPlayer!). Managed to see all of Spiral 3 when it was on, so recognised the characters!
