I probably am. Terribly vulgar etc etc, but I've been looking into it and I'd be paying £140000 ish per month. (We rent atm. Would need a 3 bed)

This sounds a lot. Is it?

Up until March this year, our mortgage was only £250 (45k on very low base rate tracker). Moved in March to bigger house and it's now £679 fixed for 3 years, and we had to get another 25 year mortgage even though we only had 15 years on the other one. Once all 3 kids are at school and childcare costs go down we plan to overpay. That's on a £128k on house of £200k.

We pay £390 per month and owe £27K. We're really grateful for this though. We bought our house for £60K 10 years ago and only have about 5.5 years to go. Can't wait!

If interest rates rise, rents rise.

£400, 19 years left on a 25 year mortgage. House bought for £120,000, it is a 3 bed ex-council house, we bought when I was 20, DP was 21.

£1400. Around 60% of my income. When we took out the mortgage I had a husband who worked FT. Then he did a runner.
