I love the Silver Fox and all his ferocious solemnity.
He can come knead my dough any time.

Competitive baking..... sigh
Bliss.
I don't respect myself for this but it is the case I can't deny it.

He doesn't

Grin
BupcakesandCunting · 06/09/2011 19:09

HE DOES

GreenEyesandNiceHam · 06/09/2011 19:12

Yes he does

I bet he flirts with everyone, with his floppy fringe and green, dark lashed eyes?

HowlingBitch · 06/09/2011 19:13

Jennifer aniston you say?

Bugger that. Not even close!

Check out the Living Overseas topic, there was a thread about how to get BBC abroad

A little brag from me as DH has just given me (is my birthday today) the Great British Bake Off book..don't usually indulge in TV linked books but there is quite a lot of basic info (I need it!) plus some of the recipes that have appeared on the show - eg Jason's blueberry bakewell tart thingies of a fortnight ago. Yum

ouryve · 06/09/2011 20:16

Not getting the Rob love. He's pretty, but annoying (and I suspect I might be old enough to be his mum)

Paul makes me drool almost as much as the baking, though. :o

GreenEyesandNiceHam · 06/09/2011 20:16

I like Janet, I bet she's a right old giggle

MmeLindor. · 06/09/2011 20:18

Rob is the Hugh Grant knockoff? No, he is not doing it for me.

BupcakesandCunting · 06/09/2011 20:40

NO MME.

Rob is the lovely, floppy-haired, green-eyed Adonis who cannot bake for shit.

Marriage material right there. Sorry mr Cunting Grin

I am boycotting the programme since my dear friend Ian was booted off last week. His bread basket was easily the best, it even had ducks on it!

MmeLindor. · 06/09/2011 20:49

I will go for the Silver Fox.

Oh, poor Jasmine. I have never attempted maccaroons, they look tricky.

I missed last week. How is Rob still in the programme? Has anything he's baked turned out ok or is he just there as eye candy?

SarahStratton · 06/09/2011 20:56

Eye candy IMO.

fivegomadindorset · 06/09/2011 20:56

Yay for Jason.

MmeLindor. · 06/09/2011 20:56

Rob is just there to make sure middle aged women like us keep watching.

SarahStratton · 06/09/2011 20:56

I want to slide my hand inside Paul's shirt Blush

fivegomadindorset · 06/09/2011 20:57

DD will be happy that Rob is still in (disclaimer DD is 5)

MmeLindor. · 06/09/2011 20:58

Holly is a great baker, but that blouse! Woman, you are in your 30s not your 80s.

Bellavita · 06/09/2011 20:59

I love is programme. And agree Paul Hollywood is just so... eatable...
