...to expext my CHB to actuallty be paid tomorrow and not in two weeks time???

Just went on the CHB website to double check that my CHB will be getting paid tomorrow, as expected (completely cash strapped this month!!) and to my dismay it is coming up with a date in two week time!!Thats six weeks since the last payment...why???
Have looked back at the last four months payments and I haven't been paid early so why oh why is it going to be full two weeks late this month arghhh!!!

Just looked and mines due in tomorrow and my online banking says it's pending to go in.

I wouldn't mind so much if i knew i could speak to someone and it was being sorted but you still cannot speak to anyone on their helpline.

Mine has gone in, had a restless night just in case it didnt.

The payment will have been set to go about 3 days before you receive it. So if you get it paid weekly and it's showing it's due next week, not this, it may be because their system has already technically paid it to you IWSWIM.

OP I note this doesn't apply to you as you seem to have a 6 week gap. Has there been a change in your circumstances etc that may mean it's been moved? Mine got moved along with my CTC when I had a change in circumstances.

Has anyone managed to get through to speak to someone? Mine is showing 19th of October but is due next week. I'm going to try calling later.

mine is due the 19th and according to that site it will be going in on the 19th.

Mins seems to be fine so it's not affecting everyone

KAZAMM - As I said above it may have already been set up to be paid by HMRC to you next week. So technically the next payment has already been sorted/paid from tehir system it's just that you haven't actually received it yet as it will take 3 or more working days to reach you. Therefore the next payment due to you (as far as they are concerned) is probably for the week of 19th October...

Thinking this might have happened to me last month. I have chb & dla marked down on the calendar and when I checked our balance we were way out of what I thought we were. I'd forgotten about DPs travel pass (which is nearly £90) and just figured I'd got the wrong week for chb. Looking now I'm sure it's been bumped back a week.

Mine went in this morning despite the site showing it was due w/c 19th sept. Not sure what was going on there!

I checked ours last night the date came up as the 19th sept, but was due today, luckily it was there.

Hope everyone else gets theirs or manages to sort them out if you havent

oh dear just had another look and it's gone in already on the 5th !! It wasn't due to the 19th.

I thought I had too much money and thought it was down to my superb budgeting.

Looks like I was wrong. Oh crap I wont be getting it on the 19th by the look of it and have to make the money last now

Website is telling me it's due on w/c 12th, my calendar says it's due Tue 13th. It'd better NOT be late - I'm paying for DS2's birthday presents and party out of it...

Mine came today as it should. I get weekly payments though so not sure if that makes a difference?

mine is now due on the 26th... 2 weeks late too after being informed by my work they are stopping paying my maternity stat pay 2 day before it was due and having to claim with job centre for mat allowance.. Still chasing tax credit too with them knowing about new baby for 3 weeks... never had overdraft, just very close to it before.. wonder would will pay the bank fees for it...

I think mine has gone in today. I get tax credits on a wednesday, but there was more than that in there, just enough more to be the CB.

I had emailed them though so maybe they sorted it out.

Hi I'm a mother of two small babies. Partner been living at his mums all d while during pregnancy and birth. Now wants to move in with me. Will this affect my benefits??? I get child tax credit and child benefit too. I've just put a claim in for income support as lone parent and that's just going through at the moment. If I let him move in will I still get child tax and income support and child benefit? He is also unemployed. Any replies much appreciated any thanks in advance

If it is paid tomorrow then the CHB department have already paid it, it just hasn't shown in your bank account yet.

I bet if you check after midnight it will be in your bank.
