do you have a certain seat or place you always sit.

i'm sitting in dhs spot on the sofa, as i'm using his computer, and i can actually relax on this spot.

plus i have my spot at the dinner table too

I have a spot on the sofa, a PhD in theoretical physics and I have a place for everything in the kitchen and get very upset if people put things in the wrong place but I know I can't possibly be Sheldon as I'm certain string theory is a 'croc'.

My DS' think it's hilarious and have green lantern and flash t-shirts.

My spot isn't so much a particular place, just a large personal space. If the whole family pile in around me I have to grit my teeth not to tell them all to bugger off. I am generally much less pleasant to be in the same room with, the further inside my personal space you come :-( (doesn't include rude times and bedtimes)

First thing I thought of when I saw this thread? Dr Sheldon Cooper. Glad I'm not alone! Love The Big Bang Theory Grin

My best friend was sitting in my sofa spot all evening yesterday. I didn't really mind that so much, he is my BF after all, but what did grate was his inability to sit in it properly, at the right position which maximises TV view vs. comfort vs. proximity to wine coffee table.

I fought my inner Monica Geller screaming at me to instruct him to adjust his position enquire as to his comfort....

For all those BBT fans- the Series 1-4 box set is on offer for £25 on Amazon at the minute. My xmas present from Mum, ordered yesterday!

Own spot on couch, own seat at head of dinner table. Ditto DH and DCs.

Will turf anyone foolish enough to sit there, don't usually have to say anything though Grin

We have 2 2 seater sofas and we definitely have our own seats. My seat allows me to have my laptop balanced on the arm, prime seat for the telly and it has an obvious impression of my bum cheeks on it. DD (5yo) automatically moves when I enter the room!
