Dominic West - a fine, handsome man?

Have had a soft spot for Mr West but this has been knocked on the head by the adverts for the drama on Sunday about the Wests.

AIBU to think I have gone off him or is it because he is a great actor and is able to 'be' the part? Possibly because he looks so much like Fred West?

Lol BeatRoute my BF was overweight since she was little and I have never been particularly slim myself but I think that photo was a turning point for her!

Blimey tho - that must have been some weird camera effect to make a 3 year old look like Myra Hindley! Mind you she did look like an angry child in that photo. Chin down, eyes up, not smiling.

As for Fred and Rose isn't it odd how two such damaged and dangerous people found each other and worked together? Maybe if they'd met other partners they never would have become murderers?

Something about the Wests' completely terrifies me. Their banality, just how totally ordinary they appeared shudder.

Agreed Sookeh another friend of mine is from a village outside Cheltenham and can remember seeing Rose out and about with her family years and years ago. Rose Letts as she was then. She also remembers seeing police appeals to trace some of the missing girls, Lucy Partington in particular, and could not believe that Rose was a major player in such depravity. What horrifies me is the thought that the Wests can't possibly be the only couple like that. There must be others.

That's what terrifies me busters that there could be many, many more seemingly banal and ordinary people out there capable of the same horrors.
