TheMagnificentBathykolpian · 28/08/2011 14:41

You're a troll
You're a bitch
You're a cow
You're stupid
You shag sheep

That sort of thing Grin

reelingintheyears · 28/08/2011 15:03

They all called you

Yes you..

A cunt.

Now you know.

Smile
SauvignonBlanche · 28/08/2011 15:16

Mine on the blue badge thread said:
" YABVU, boring and stupid.
As every time you leave your car unattended someone smashes a window and it always rains where you live, I suggest you buy PFB a waterproof."

That was it to the best of my memory, definately no swearing. So, call someone "stupid" and you're deleted. Hmm

Pagwatch · 28/08/2011 15:19

Hmmm
That does seem harsh Sauvignon.

I also think people who leap to report are a bit pathetic.
If someone has posted something really vile or is being grim and stalkery then report. But whining about stupid is a bit weak ass.

happymole · 28/08/2011 15:23

I've been deleted quite a few times and also been on loads of threads that go pooofffff.

SauvignonBlanche · 28/08/2011 15:24

It was, wasn't it? Most unlike me but I was driven to it. Blush
It was boring and it was stupid but I shouldn't have used the two words together.
Never mind, it's gone from the relevant thread now

GeneralCustardsHardHat · 28/08/2011 15:29

Message thrown in the proverbial trash can and eaten by Oscar the Grouch and Mumsnet

RowanMumsnet · 28/08/2011 15:29

Hello,

Just to nip in with a boring answer: it's almost always because of personal attacks (and calling someone 'stupid and boring' does fall into that category I'm afraid), or trolling, or troll-hunting, or being frighteningly defamatory, or advertising, or some other contravention of our Talk Guidelines.

It's not completely consistent because we get upwards of 25,000 posts a day on here, and so we often see only those posts that are brought to our attention by one of you lot. Please, please report anything that you think we ought to have a look at.

If you get deleted and you're not sure why (or just plain furious) do email [email protected] and we will do our best to give you an explanation, usually while cowering behind our keyboards.

Thanks
MNHQ x

MotherOfHobbit · 28/08/2011 17:12

Ooh, me too. Especially when you come to a thread late and everyone is reacting to something the poster said and you just can't figure out what was so reactionary!

youarekidding · 29/08/2011 18:32

Yeah mother you get a whole load of posts saying

'X that was uncalled for, rude etc etc'

and all I can think of is WHAT WAS!!!

vincentvangogh · 29/08/2011 18:43

You can also get your post deleted by telling someone to fuck off back to netmums, even if it's totally justified :o

GilbonzoTheSecretPsych0Duck · 29/08/2011 18:52

I got deleted for a very succinct and appropriate 'fuck off'. Most disappointing. I spent ages planning, proof reading, working on the layout and checking the spelling.

PinotsWolefCubs · 29/08/2011 18:58

Gilby I'm so proud of you

GilbonzoTheSecretPsych0Duck · 29/08/2011 19:05

Awww shucks!

bruffin · 29/08/2011 19:13

I got deleted for outing a serial namechanger who gets away with bullying personal attacks in every other post, but as soon as anyone challenges her, she plays innocent. Classic playground bully.

izzywhizzyletsgetbusy · 29/08/2011 20:02

As of today, I am officially a member of the deleted elite club.

Having failed to swear at a fellow m/netter or imply that they were intellectually challenged and/or less than entertaining, I haven't a clue why I have been deemed worthy of this honour but, neverthteless, I will do my utmost to maintain the low high standards set by my predecessors.

youarekidding · 29/08/2011 20:04

Izzy SPEECH SPEECH, and accept badge graciously. Grin

Gay40 · 29/08/2011 20:06

Am I the only person who doesn't know who Xenia is?

mankymink · 29/08/2011 20:11

Message disappeared in Columbian drug war type killing by Mumsnet

carabos · 29/08/2011 20:16

Gay40 I don't know who Xenia is (but would like to).

youarekidding · 29/08/2011 20:16

Neither do I. Grin

We might be the only 3 though. Grin

SouthernFriedTofu · 29/08/2011 20:18

Mine on the blue badges thread was rude. I stand by it but it was rude.

I did wonder was really nosy as you seem to be one of the most sensible posters StewieGriffinsMom

MynameisnotEarl · 29/08/2011 20:19

crazynanna I once asked Mumsnet to delete all my posts on a very sensitive thread for personal reasons.

Instead of reading "Message deleted at poster's request", they all said "Message deleted by Mumsnet" as if I'd been very rude.

SouthernFriedTofu · 29/08/2011 20:19

gay40 no I dont know either!

cause she is a big fat troll
