Hello

We had a look at the Belsen/Auschwitz comments and, while we think they're unpleasant and misplaced (to say the least), we don't delete purely on the grounds of bad taste.

We do delete for troll hunting and personal attacks, which is what the deleted posts were.

Please remember to report any trolling suspicions directly to MNHQ using the report button rather than posting on the thread.

Apologies SouthernFried, only just seen your post about 'gimpy'; that's a new one on me and we take that on board. It's probably not giving too much away to say that our friend with the unpleasant name won't be posting any more.

TSC - your post mentioned the 'T' word twice (and the 'fcking cnt' words once )

Pan - no, we don't think it's racist (or anti-Semitic) to make thoughtless/tasteless remarks about concentration camps. We would definitely delete if we thought a post was racist or anti-Semitic (in case anyone was in any doubt about that).

Hi Empusa. We're not going to delete every single post that mentions the word 'troll', but it's a pretty fine line between calling someone a troll and saying that their posts are trolling. On balance, you'd always be better off reporting than posting on the thread - not least because someone at MNHQ will definitely look into it if you report, whereas if you just post on the thread it might fly under our radar, and someone who is trolling won't get dealt with.
