It was my 25th birthday yesterday. My dh has come out in Chicken Pox just as ds (17mo) is recovering...I'm 7 months pregnant and had to finish attaching skirting boards to our new house before the carpet turns up tomorrow.

I have decided today, to sit in my pajamas (albeit rather fetching maternity pajamas) and eat my chocolate fudge birthday cake (still in its box) with a serving spoon.

I think this is acceptable. I doubt my mother agrees.

Shmoz, dead and buried according to the twisted logic I was presented with...when I argued I was reminded that I'm closer to 30 (and therefore death) then 10 (and therefore still young).

How utterly depressing.

We all started getting older in our mothers' wombs, ffs, stop bloody worrying and eat more cake!

I don't think there's a better way to eat cake than to selfishly scoff it all in your pj's tbh. Well done

I'm now thinking of cake myself.
