To wonder what goes on behind the scenes at MNHQ?

When MN was just down for an upgrade just now, I couldn't help but wonder what swan like furious paddling was going on behind the scenes.

Were they trying to fend off a government hacking session designed to use covert mind control techniques over the mass of famously influential posters on MN?

Had one of the blue posting HQ staff had one too many with their cous cous with a baby leaf salad and given into the big red 'Do Not Press' button?

Or had techy just knocked their redbull down the back of the server?

I imagine there's a while tangle of plugs and only one multi-plug adaptor, and someone thought they'd unplugged the toaster to plug in the kettle, but actually it was a vital computer component, and then they had to go through all the plugs.
