... to think that having FIVE holidays...

in a single year is taking the FUCKING piss?? As David Cameron has just started his fifth, I'd like to wish him heaps of shit and not a lot of fun. Seeing as he could barely be bothered to bring his to the yard when the rioting milkshake started (how gracious of him to finally turn up) this is just sickening.

People are KILLING themselves trying to make ends meet here (need I cite the AIBU stresshead threads about money, and the lack thereof..., I feel that pain!) and this is just ridiculous judgement on his part.

Or a total lack of.

ANd yes, I hate the fucking coalition, No, I think they didn't get a mandate to rule, I could boot Clegg quite happily up the arse - but these are all for other threads.

I heard about the five holidays on Radio 4 this morning and nearly spat out my tea!! Let's face it - he'll have at least one more before the year is out? He's entitled to a holiday, no question. But five???

Talk about how the other half live. Pah. Must be nice. Hmm

Why does it matter that Tony Blair was allegedly worse? Surely the point is that at the moment the country, and the world, need leadership. Surely Sam could take the kids by herself and he could step up and show the country he takes the job seriously. If this was the first break this month I would support his right to go but for someone who is so image conscious I feel taking a second August break is a real problem. I am a floating voter in a marginal constituency and it does effect the way I perceive Conservative values.

YABU.

It's not exactly unusual to have 4/5 holidays per year (I've had 4 already this year). Why shouldn't he do it?

TBH it's starting to get ridiculous here with thread after thread slagging Cameron off. I think he's a pillock too, but some people seem to be obsessed with having a go about him for anything and everything.

Maybe this place should be renamed 'LeftWingNet'.

A couple of the holidays were long weekends, not whole weeks.

PMs used to go away for the whole summer recess within living memory.

YABU

If he has the annual leave to take and can afford it why should he not go on holiday.

DOI: I may go on a similar number of holidays/ year.

It's not exactly unusual to have 4/5 holidays per year (I've had 4 already this year). Why shouldn't he do it?

Because he's the Prime minister fgs.

He's supposed to be sorting the country out IE creating jobs, giving the contract to Bombardier would help, sorting out the deficit, stopping the gas and electric suppliers putting up their prices, stop picking on women, the poor and the disabled, stop the Bankers and MPS being greedy. There are so many things he could be doing instead of sunning himself in other countries whilst the rest of us wander how were going to pay the next bill that comes through the letter box. Yes, he is entitled to holidays but he can't on one hand tell us we need to tighten our belts, whilst he on the other hand loosens his another notch and lies in the sun.

Another thing that really gets my goat is the only alternative is that prat Miliband why on earth labour thought he was a good choice to be leader of the Labour party is beyond me. There all out for themselves they couldn't give a fuck for the rest of us tbh Angry
