I've just cooked chicken and noodles for 4 DC. DD(3) said she wanted cereal instead. I said no,like I always do,so she proceeded to throw her entire plate of food all over the settee. AIBU to put it back on her plate and not give her anything else to eat? I don't like the thought of her going to bed hungry but if I give in now I'm just making a rod for my own back, aren't I?!

Another one saying stand firm. She is old enough to know better and she will learn once and for all that you are not to be messed about at mealtimes.
