People thinking that their opinions are valuable

Let me be the first to say this is not a whine post. But I?m getting tired of people who having opinions. But it is impossible to stress that it is not the person having the opinion that is ultimately responsible. Nor is it the opinion. It is the person having the opinion in the first place.

So here starts. I have a good life but only because I don?t have an oinion. Most on here have opinions. But do you have as good a life as me? I think propably not. That?s the problem. But the problem is when they take said opinion and thinks that gives them jurisdiction over other person. Answer me this what good does your opinion do you and when?

Now I ask myself tough questions. Just yesterday while driving. But are you ready for the answer. Be warned the answer is not always good and smooth. And that is the reason why you have opinions. Better to have oinion and not the facts. I guess that?s what I get at.

OP posts:

I want to comment on this but I can't have an opinion so am thwarted.

Fuzzywuzzywozabear · 17/08/2011 08:55

Surely just by posting this, OP is expressing an opinion so they have shot themselves in the foot?

mummysontheedge · 17/08/2011 09:10

What about garlic, is that ok to have? And leeks? Is it just the oinions that are making my life crap? What if I go some where for dinner and I have someone else's oinions forced upon me? Confused

NevermindtheNargles · 17/08/2011 09:19

It's easy not to have an oinion if you have no marbles. With marbles come oinions. With great marbles come great oinions.

"But do you have as good a life as me? I think propably not"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this not an opinion? I fear it may be. As well as an assumption and a judgement.

Do you think the OP's "good life" will be traumatised by realising that he/she has an opinion after all?

yousankmybattleship · 17/08/2011 09:29

Oh no - this is the loon who wanted to have her cake and eat it isn't it? I suppose you wouldn't want onions in a cake. Unless it was an onion cake. Then would you want to eat it? I have no opinion, on cakes or onions or the good life. Although I did used to quite fancy Richard Briars.

differentnameforthis · 17/08/2011 09:33

I'm sorry.....what?

DamselInDisarray · 17/08/2011 09:38

Oh the irony. Glorious.

MissPenteuth · 17/08/2011 09:41

What's with the nonsensical posts recently? This one, and this one, and this one, to name but a few.

Confused
choclatelickurs · 17/08/2011 09:43

fried onions

mmmmmmmmmmmmm

Aislingorla · 17/08/2011 09:53

missmog, love the idea of 'pig snorting' the kids awake!
Unfortunately does't work with my text book teens, but there we go!
What is OP on about? Somebody/anybody.....please!

Aislingorla · 17/08/2011 09:55

It's the 'silly season' Misspent, in'it?

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 17/08/2011 10:12

I think OP has confused opinion with agenda

BaronessBomburst · 17/08/2011 10:16

Er, I think I need more coffee. Then I'll read it again. My mum is allergic to onions. Is her life better than mine?

Fuzzywuzzywozabear · 17/08/2011 10:16

I think the OP is just confused

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 17/08/2011 10:18

Ogres are like onions, they have layers.

Why can't they be like parfait? Everybody likes parfait.

NevermindtheNargles · 17/08/2011 10:20

I liked the one with the hooligans and seagulls. A better brand of nonsense.

Thumbwitch · 17/08/2011 10:23

I like onions better than parfait. Grin

Verahaspurpletwuntypants · 17/08/2011 10:25

KurriKurri · 17/08/2011 10:36

Hello Fahrenheit. You really know your oinions, when it comes to oinions.

I want to know what the tough question you asked yourself yesterday was.

jenna13 · 17/08/2011 10:40

What about spring onions? Do I need to avoid those to? Grin
