Is anyone else really fed up with dog poo in London?

And, can anyone else tell a mile away who's the culprit?
It's everywhere and I can't bear it, it's so rude and inconsiderate to those who live in your neighborhood; and when I see you in a hoodie on your mobile walking your pit bull off it's lead, I'm on to you.

PS - Google "Dog Control Orders".

I have watched:
Middle-aged woman with a border collie who had the most turd at a pedestrian crossing. I was driving at the time ,halted at the lights.I called out "Aren't you going to pick that up,love?" as she walked away.(She had several carriers bags in her hand, so could have used one)

Older man with a collie walking through a gated and fenced childrens play area. His dog 'went' and when I asked him to pick it up he told me to 'fuck off'

Several of the school-run mummies have their dogs in tow, many of these crap on the pavements near the school.(I have witnessed)

Though I was very impressed with one man who helped a lady after her dog had the worlds worst, and smelliest, liquid turd.He got out a hose pipe and sluiced down the pavement.

We have this in our village. One was notorious. My son followed him one day, picked up his dog's shit in a doggie bag, then went round to the car park and smeared it all over the bonnet of his car. The bloke didn't let his dog do it again!

A friend watched one dog walker always let her dog poo on the pavement outside his house and never clear it up. So one day he stood outside and did the 'morning' thing and casually mentioned he was watching to catch the person who wasn't clearing up as he was going to drop the shit on that person's doorstep (small village so would know where they lived).

Result - no more poo outside his house.

But does it have to come to this - my babysitter was sworn at for asking someone to pick up after their dog - and this was a seemingly respectable woman.

Am sure its worse now though than it was a few years back. Some local landowners are banning dog walkers from their land now because of this which is very unfair on the responsible owners.

Anyway our parish magazine is going to have yet another article reminding people to clear up but what's the point - I just don't think that reading a bit in the magazine is suddenly going to make these people realise that they're wrong.
