To let the kids sit on the trampoline in heavy rain because they want to?

THey're 7 and 3. They put macs and boots and hats ond they're sitting there with a blanket on their knees...they don't want to come in.

It really is pouring down. Do I let them carry on?

Worra can't believe you'd even consider shitting in the downstairs toilet.
It's clearly for piss and guests only.

chicletteth I so want to be able to do that again. Used to when I was single....well absolutely naked. There's nothing like running around naked in the rain.

My DP is totally shocked by it. So I have to wait until he's not here and sneak round to the side of the house where the neighbours can't see.

My three love playing in the rain. They put on wellies and coats and hats and then run off into the cul de sac splashing in all the puddles and generally hooning around. I stand and watch from the porch :)

Of course they should be able to. Rain is fun at that age. we spend so much time whingeing about it when we're grown up they might as well make the mos of it now.

moonstorm · 10/08/2011 21:23

Of course let them. I don't get this culture of having to be inside when it rains. Rain is fun!

McDreamy · 10/08/2011 21:27

My 3 did exactly this on Sunday - NAKED!!

I actually bought DS a second hand all in one snow suit from the tip! for £1 and washed in the re water proofing fluid for this purpose. Grin

Also living near the beach we love walking along that in the rain and paddling. Grin
