People in nightwear. During the day. In the street.

Im not talking a sly coat over jamas to drop the kids off, im talking full jim jams, dressing gown and slippers walking down the main street to go to the shop!!!

Several 'adults' (though not sure if they were a human subtype) rocked up for breakfast in their pyjamas at Butlins. I was stunned.

33goingon64 : Hartlepool, admittedly we don't have an awful lot going for us but there has to be a line, doesn't there?!

I'm not especially bothered about soft dangly parts out in the open tbh. It's just a body and we all have one. I thought it was such a shame that the naturist hiker bloke kept getting arrested. Why is a body offensive?

i have no issues abut the nakedness. My DP loves being naked (much to my dismay) and is often unclothes (thank the lord for blinds!!!)

I remember my mam keeping her jama top on to drop me at school when my brother was small, or picking me up from dancing with her coat on over her jamas in the car, I dont recall people wandering around the streets in night clothes, quite happily not even remotely bothered.

i dont know why it bugs me the sensible part of me says "its clothes, they are covered does it really matter than she is wearing betty boop jamas at 60? no it doesnt "

The other part of me shouts "get dressed you skank!"

Maybe i need to concentrate on something a little more pressing haha

(it does boil my blood though)

:)

So if you were camping in a tent, is it ok to go up to the shower block in your jammies? Just so I know.

HerRoyalNotness · 04/08/2011 23:32

Hartlepool? I am at this minute telling DH that we are not moving back here! (currently visiting) but maybe I'll change my mind if I can doss around all day in my jimjams without anyone raising an eyebrow

Get this quite a bit in my local mini-supermarket on a weekend morning. To be honest it isn't the pyjamas that bother me so much (unless they are really grubby) as the matted hair and skanky faces with last night's make-up smeared all over, crusty eyes and mouth thing. Hate being confronted with mucky people while I'm buying food.
