WARNING ANIMAL CRUELTY

Is that the issue? I see. Thanks for explaining because I didn't get it.
I don't condone breaking the law but maybe there need to be instances where the law can be flexible then. Maybe a system whereby you take the evidence to a judge and he decides whether it can be admitted, based on how serious the issue at hand is. I can think of several instances where I would be happy for people to break the law if it meant holding others to account for their actions. What if the hidden cameras had recorded instances of child sexual abuse?

To me, what you have here is two cases of law-breaking. One involves serious animal cruelty by peple who know exactly what they are doing and take a sadistic pleasure in it. Then you have a second involving trespass. By preventing the prosecution, you are saying trespass is more serious. We need DEFRA to say that in fact causing unnecessary suffering to an animal is far worse than standing on a patch of land you shouldn't be on. So there are still things to contact them about - just a slight change of wording needed.
