Would I Be Unreasonable to take a crochet hook on an aeroplane? I find it very relaxing, and it's more sociable than reading/listening to music (going with a group) because I can talk/listen to other people at the same time.

BUT would it be classed as an offensive weapon?

I've already checked the airline terms and conditions, and nothing even remotely similar (knitting needles, sewing/crafting equipment) is mentioned.

Ring them and ask

I wouldn't trust a crocheter as far as I could throw them tbh.

Bet you look really shifty.

When I worked for an airline a couple of years ago, knitting needles were not permitted in hand luggage - so I just cheked Heathrow for you and they say that knitting needles and scissors are prohibited

Thanks, Amber. I'll stick to puzzles, books and actually talking to people!

Agent, I'll throw you first...

Worra, I hate, loathe, abhor and detest phoning people Blush
