I saw a woman whilst out today, who added her sugar to her, granted individual-sized, teapot.

That's beresk, non?

grovel · 26/07/2011 16:25

It's odd but not berserk.

Valpollicella · 26/07/2011 16:25

Where did you see that Chaos?

scampadoodle · 26/07/2011 16:26

Maybe she was Moroccan & it was mint tea?

allhailtheaubergine · 26/07/2011 16:26

Depends. Was it a specialist cafe?

arf @ Chaos trying again.

Nassau · 26/07/2011 16:27

My DH did that last week at home by accident - but he was underpressure and a bit stressed at the time.

I laughed and called him an eejit.

2shoes · 26/07/2011 16:27

perhaps she had dementia

ChaosTrulyReigns · 26/07/2011 16:28

Yes chaos that's very odd

< still trying to remember what siob is>

AgentZigzag · 26/07/2011 16:29

It is berserk grovel!

What was the woman thinking?? Shock

Thin end of the wedge...

AtYourCervix · 26/07/2011 16:29

maybe she fancied trying something a little 'different' and 'risque'?

Wamster · 26/07/2011 16:30

It would be berserk- and really rude and inconsiderate- had it been tea to share with others, but, as it was an individual pot, a little offbeat but not berserk.

Wamster · 26/07/2011 16:32

But, admit it, it was when she got up and poured the milk over her head, jumped up and down 3 times and sang 'I will survive' to the tune of 'Angels' by Robbie Williams that your 'nutjob' antennae REALLY got set off.

TotalChaos · 26/07/2011 16:33

unusual but if it's only you having the tea, why not?

KurriKurri · 26/07/2011 16:33

Good grief, whatever kind of cafe were you in?

[wunk]

Sarsaparilllla · 26/07/2011 16:33

My DP put milk in the tea pot once, I taught him the error of his ways!

AgentZigzag · 26/07/2011 16:34

I disagree wamster, I think her intention was to corrupt.

She knew people could see her, and was following her sinister gameplan.

grovel · 26/07/2011 16:34

Sugar would dissolve quicker/better in tea without milk.

SenoritaViva · 26/07/2011 16:34

I would hate it if sharing the pot (hate sugary tea). Maybe with lumps a whole lump is too much so she thought she'd 'dilute' by putting it in the pot?

KurriKurri · 26/07/2011 16:35

How many more threads???? Grin

HPonEverything · 26/07/2011 16:35

bit strange but maybe she has OCD about having the exact same amount of sugar for all tea she pours from a particular pot? I can sort of understand it in a way Blush

my brother used to make tea by putting the milk and water together in the kettle and boiling them up together - now THAT's weird

CuttlefishDramas · 26/07/2011 16:37

Was it a spoonful of sugar, or a sugar cube? I don't know why, but I feel this makes a difference.

allhailtheaubergine · 26/07/2011 16:40

Hpon - didn't it spew out of the spout when it boiled?

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 26/07/2011 16:42

It's irregular, granted, but in an individual pot for one person ... fine by me.

Valpollicella · 26/07/2011 16:42

Yes, you wouldn't want that hot sticky liquid all over you, would you allhail
