Someone explain those Dettol hands-free things to me.

OK. You need to wash your dirty hands, so you use those same filthy hands to turn the taps on, squirt a bit of soap on your hands, wash them and then use your nice clean hands to turn off the very same tap your manky digits have just turned on. How the fuck does having a hands-free soap dispenser make your hands cleaner? I just don't get it.

I was at a friend's house the other day who had recently bought one of these. Curious, I picked it up, of course it dispensed soap everywhere. Then I got some loo roll to clean up the soap and accidentally moved my hand under the spout, even more soap everywhere. At this point I was almost scared of it. It seemed determined to ejaculate soap at me! I think I am just too damn stupid to have one.
