Surely it should only ever be eaten straight from the carton. With a teaspoon. This has quite unsettled me.

You are asking the wrong question.
It should be
"Am I being unreasonable to kick dh out for eating my yes MY Ben and Jerrys?"

Bowl or Carton is irrelevant its just not his to eat! Shock

NervousNelly · 21/07/2011 23:16

Very good point Chaz.

I don't drink his beer much.

It must be eaten out of the tub.

I hadn't thought about this before, but one disastrous boyfriend made me dinner and served Chunky Monkey for pudding. Not only is it the wrong flavour (Ben & Jerrys is obviously all about Phish Food and Cherry Garcia), the bowl should have been a big red flag that this was not going to be a great relationship.

OP, do yourself a favour and try Green and Blacks dark chocolate ice cream.

2 words for you lot BLOODY PATHETIC

Earthymama · 22/07/2011 13:21

You are all wrong!
Green and Blacks Vanilla
From the Carton
With a long-handled spoon with a teeny tiny bowl, bought speshully to prolong the ice cream eating process
while watching favourite programme ie Good Wife, Brothers and Sisters, Shadow Line or Torchwood

LadyClariceCannockMonty · 22/07/2011 13:35

I don't do vanilla.

There's no point if it's not chocolate. That's a fact. Smile

Aldi do a wonderful chocolate ice cream in a square tub if any of you drift in there at any point. Its nearly as good as B&J.

Anyway YANBU teaspoon from the tub here. Dh sometimes uses bowls & it's not right
