Grin

After discussing my desire to whizz to see the doctor next week because he looks like Jake Gyllenhaal, SarahS was very jealous, as her GP doesn't scrub up quite so well.

Wink

So, are you lucky in the DocLottery?

The anesthetist who gave me the spinal for my EMCS was fucking gorgeous, I was sooo embarrassed. Seriously hot. I, by then was not ...

SuePurblybilt · 16/07/2011 21:34

Mine smells like a dead Movie star. Seriously - he honks and it doesn't inspire confidence.
I try to book last minute appointments so that I see someone else.

MissVerinder · 16/07/2011 21:34

Patrick Stewart!

AKMD · 16/07/2011 21:37

The senior GP at my practice resembles George Clooney and his name is Julian and he is lovely and I have only seen him about twice because he is always fully booked. Sigh

iwanttoseethezoo · 16/07/2011 21:38

one of our GPs is on the telly...

AmazingBouncingFerret · 16/07/2011 21:38

Nope. My GP doesnt look like anyone famous.

However...

There are photos of my Dad taken in the 60's and he is the spitting image of Matt Damon, complete with toothy grin!

Glitterknickaz · 16/07/2011 21:38

No, but my dentist does look like a young David Ginola Grin

bibbitybobbityhat · 16/07/2011 21:40

Mine resembles Sidney Poitier

Dh had to go and see him yesterday, lucky sod - although I don't think he has quite the same effect on dh Grin.

papermate · 16/07/2011 23:13

My dentist could be John barrowmans twin.

BurningBridges · 16/07/2011 23:43

Is this about the survey in the Daily Mail with the fabulous headline "GPs think they should be allowed to have sex with patients" ? First thought was blimey, as if they aren't distracted enough ...

mrsdonkeybucket · 16/07/2011 23:47

No such luck.

All the GP's at my surgery are women.

Sausagesarenottheonlyfruit · 16/07/2011 23:47

My GP does resemble film star, unfortunately for me a glamorous Bollywood beauty, most intimidating when popping in for varicose vein checkups. Sad

spookshowangel · 16/07/2011 23:51

MY GP is lush dont think he looks like any one famous but i so would let him give me an inappropriate pelvic exam. he has a nice watch (rado, which bodes well hence why i mention it) and everything. problem is that does mean i have to be looking stunning every time i go to see him. that can be difficult when unwell.

A1980 · 17/07/2011 00:13

My GP is ok. Better wehn he was younger but don't find him attractive.

My hospital consultant on the other hand....be STILL my beating heart. He's gorgeous. Wedding ring on though Sad

QueenStromba · 17/07/2011 04:46

My GP looks almost exactly like the asian guy from Teachers.

notcitrus · 17/07/2011 10:23

All the best GPs I've ever had have been gorgeous. I can only think there's a placebo effect.
Last one I saw looks like a more square-jawed Barack Obama.

Animation · 17/07/2011 10:27

"My dentist could be John barrowmans twin."

We must have the same dentist.

Mind you, that John Barrowman is everywhere! Hmm

Gingefringe · 17/07/2011 10:38

Now you come to mention it - mine looks like Sigourney Weaver.

VivaLeBeaver · 17/07/2011 10:39

Not my GP, but my gynacologist. All 3 of them infact.

BertieBotts · 17/07/2011 10:40

My GP doesn't look like anyone. But my cat's vet is hot. I'm thinking of acquiring some more pets.

FreudianSlipper · 17/07/2011 10:45

yes there is one very attractive doc at our surgery. has a slight pirate look about him as he has dark curly hair and looks a little arty

he is an ent specialist and ds had to see him often last year due to reoccurring ear problems, since having grommets i have no need to request seeing him

FoofusScrimgeour · 17/07/2011 10:53

The one that has just retired looks like a cross between Omar Sharif and Eric Pollard off Emmerdale.

New Senior Partner looks like Sandi Toksvig.

One looks like Greg Wise (Emma Thompsons husband)<a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=www.exposay.com/celebrity-photos/greg-wise-2006-bfi-london-film-festival-stranger-than-fiction-premiere-9KSyU3.jpg&imgrefurl=www.exposay.com/2006-bfi-london-film-festival---stranger-than-fiction-premiere/p/5503/&h=620&w=417&sz=34&tbnid=DPw6ex0tDUon4M:&tbnh=90&tbnw=61&prev=/search%3Fq%3DGreg%2BWise%2Bimages%26tbm%3Disch%26tbo%3Du&zoom=1&q=Greg+Wise+images&hl=en-GB&usg=__drdG6bi3w7hB2YBOx8E1llh7jUg=&sa=X&ei=4bAiTobgKoeHhQeB-oypAw&ved=0CBsQ9QEwAA" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here

macdoodle · 17/07/2011 10:59

hehe, how nice a lovely GP thread.
COI I am a GP (female obviosuly), dont look like a film star sadly :(
crackfox....................am curious though, I have in the past (younger and thinner) been told I resemble Kirstie Allsop, and one of my partners could be Diane Keaton. Where are you??

VirgoGrr · 17/07/2011 11:57

My GP looks like Arlene Phillips - with a more 'lifted' facelift. Bit too stretched imo.

Vets are all young, buff Australian men. Its enough to start you off with Munchausens on your pets. Blush
