to wonder why dishwasher tabs are so farking expensive?!

£13 for Finish nasa designed space tabs (or whatever they are called) is outrageous!

I buy the £3 from Aldi ones, and tbh I cant tell the difference between those and the uber expensive ones I made the mistake of buying once, exept perhaps as slightly shinier finish on the long wash which I only use once or twice a month at most. Surely there cant be £10 worth of difference in them? They both wash pots ffs!

So enlighten me, why are they so damned expensive and if you buy them, WHY?!

Have to use eco-friendly ones here due to septic tank (basically you can't use any detergent with phosphates in if you have a septic tank as the plant relies on its bacterial growth to do its stuff). Ecover tabs cost £4+/pack (28) depending where and when you get them.

£13 for dishwasher tabs? Ridiculous! I'd be surprised if people buy them at that price.

Asda had Finish tabs on offer ages ago. (60 for a fiver) I bought loads . Love my dishwasher but still wash my saucepans & meat trays by hand because (A) I don't have room & (B) I love to scrub......
