To keep telling DH that his friend is only a baby?

A while ago DH accussed me of fancying his 23 year old mate. i replied "don't be daft, he's only a baby!" and this annoyed him even further and he said it was a ridiculous thing to say about a 6ft 2in heavily tattooed rugby player bloke. I thought it was hilarious so everytime he mentions him I say things like "awww bless, he's so cute" etc and if DH complains I maintain that the bloke is only a baby cos I'm a funny bastard.

i do this im 23, one of our friends is 18 and i call him a baby!! teeny lickle baby with a big grown afro and bum fluff on his chin he's the cutest little thing even tho he is technically an adult and so much cleverer and mature than me its just a saying :) but tbf on your oh maybe he thinks the fact his mate is young and cute makes him more attractive to you? is he a bit low confidence wise or some such?

Genuinely don't understand why you think it's hilarious to continue to do something that your DP has told you winds him up, makes him feel a bit insecure and makes you look stupid. Just why would you?

I take it if your DP starts cooing over a young woman and calling her 'baby' you wont have a problem, and you wont expect your DP to refrain from doing it just because it makes you feel abit rubbish?? I expect this will be even more acceptable if your DP does it in front of you and says he finds it hilarious and the young woman also finds it funny.
