Is the British Gas price hike justified?

That doesn't seem justified to me. What they are actually doing is exploitative and foolish if they are basing predictions on artificially manipulated figures. Have they forgotten the disaster in the USA that was Enron.

Well gas is going to run out fairly soon anyway if Shale doesnt turn out to be the gamechanger everyone says it will be.

They even, pay every employee tons,reduce prices, set up bursary schemes, divert funds into alternate energy r&d and break even

So no campaign as peeps seem too apathetic and others justify - imo - on narrow minded grounds. @somethingwitty82 LOL -composting own poo only option for me too. If only it would work and heat our home :(

I live on a basic State Pension and EDF electric have just told me my DD is going up from £30 to £50 per month. 'Tis a bit of a blow, TBH.
