Why were Blair,Brown, and Cameron so friendly with her, the paper was a tory paper anyway so what was all that cosying with Blair and Brown, What were they up to?

All politicians have to try to get their message across to people wherever they can, so that's all the mainstream press which until this week included NOTW. Hence the cosiness.

She could mean that print media is losing money hand over fist and NOTW was going to close anyway (or more likely that the staff were going to lose their jobs anyway but the legacy name would have been kept before it became a liability).

I can't help suspecting that this sudden closure is just bringing forward something that was already in the pipeline. Convenient.

She used to be married to Ross Kemp. She's now married to Charlie Brooks who's someone in horse racing (I think)

She was married to him (belted him and was arrested for it) but is married to someone else now.

she was married to ross kemp and was questioned by police for beating him up during an arguement. they are divorced now

This pig-headed woman has not resigned because she is pig-headed. You don't get to be Fleet Street's youngest editor, and of a tabloid and be a woman to boot, by being good at giving tea parties.

Half of me wants her out, and half of me want her to tough it out: wish I had her balls!

I work in horseracing. Charlie Brooks is an ex-racehorse trainer turned writer.

I think he's written a few racing-themed books but to be honest he's a nobody in racing circles these days.
