I know one mum who drives (she does live some distance though, not walkable) she always goes past the school, down the very busy with children walking to school, road instead of using the car park most others use that she has to drive past before parking where she does. I have heard her complaining about all the pedestrians getting in her way forcing her to craw along slowly. All the family seem to be very fit and horse ride a lot, she saves about 90 seconds I would guess by doing this.

Paperbank, We can really only judge what we see in front of us and where we feel we know the actual circumstances. I am passionate about it as a general issue, but only because of what I have seen at the two schools I know most about. If it had no effect on me at all and everyone at my school walked, or parked considerately, or behaved courteously, I doubt whether it would make me so cross!

Negative, busybodying and catty

If you knew me, you would not make those accusations at all. I am nothing of the sort. Smile
