I wouldn't let it change me though - just a slightly bigger house in the village next to the one i'm in and a slightly nicer car.....

portblacksandagain I'm the same. Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge house etc. I think most folk really would like to think it wouldn't change them but it most certainly would. Maybe for the better?

I'd definately give the nursery we usea HUGE amount of money and throw a massive party for them. I've wanted to do that for ages. They're a great bunch in there!

Im going to set up a trust fund to provide for my entire family in perpetuity? (sp) then give loads to charity. Maybe open a shelter or two. share with my friends, and improve my local community. Oh, and maybe have some plastic surgery. Grin

always mystifies me when lottery winners say 'oh, it won't change our lives'. So why do the ruddy thing, then? Anyone who doesn't want to change their life dramatically should leave well alone for the rest of us mugs incurable optimists!

I took DD for a massive walk in the sun today and indulged in a massive and very detailed lottery fantasy all the way round the park. Even came home and looked on rightmove at houses in the area we'd move to if money was no object....

It's about time Lady Luck threw a bit my way. It's been nowt but doom and gloom recently

So, when I win tomorrow and start house shopping, what is the general consensus. Is it too ostentatious to have a library, swimming pool & a tennis court? Is 2 out of 3 ok and if so, which 2?

wow when i win the lottery i will get a really big house wiv massive garden so my ds can stay outdoors all day! and get all the professionals needed to work wiv him (he's asd) atleast then the local authority cant tell me they cannot fund my son for our chosen school!

Are you aware that the odds of winning are now 1 in 116,531,800? Unimaginably small odds designed to keep greedy people ploughing money in as the jackpot continues to roll over.

This couple had the right idea..both of them were "on the sick" and wisely invested their benefits in a ticket when the odds were a mere 1 in about 76million. They are now £4.8m richer than me.

Thinking about it hell bunny the pool would be for me, the library would be for DS1 so really, I should get the tennis court as well so that DS2 has something just for him or I would be a terrible mother, right?

Oh and not forgetting DS3 but that's fine because my research on rightmove just now threw up a house with built in soft play room as well, so we would all be sorted. Except DP. He could have the kitchen as his room, or maybe one of the outbuildings to convert to a man den.

I feel so much better now I have it all sorted in my head Wink
