There's no point, really. Since I'm winning it! :P

£154 MILLION??????? That is some fucking seriously silly money!

PortBlacksandAgain · 04/07/2011 22:22

I wouldn't let it change me though - just a slightly bigger house in the village next to the one i'm in and a slightly nicer car.....

hiddenhome · 04/07/2011 22:24

Well if I win it I'm going to help everyone here with whatever troubles they have and generally have a nice time and spread a bit of happiness Grin

That might be difficult though 'cos I wasn't actually going to buy a ticket Confused

ShellyBoobs · 04/07/2011 22:26

The Lottery?

It's just a tax on the stupid.

(I've got 2 lucky dips, just in case)

HellBunny · 04/07/2011 22:28

portblacksandagain I'm the same. Huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge house etc. I think most folk really would like to think it wouldn't change them but it most certainly would. Maybe for the better?

I'd definately give the nursery we usea HUGE amount of money and throw a massive party for them. I've wanted to do that for ages. They're a great bunch in there!

Too late, Hellbunny. I bought the winning ticket this afternoon! Grin
Im going to set up a trust fund to provide for my entire family in perpetuity? (sp) then give loads to charity. Maybe open a shelter or two. share with my friends, and improve my local community. Oh, and maybe have some plastic surgery. Grin

thesunshinesbrightly · 04/07/2011 22:30

Hate to burst your bubble but i have already claimed my win for tomorrow!

edam · 04/07/2011 22:32

always mystifies me when lottery winners say 'oh, it won't change our lives'. So why do the ruddy thing, then? Anyone who doesn't want to change their life dramatically should leave well alone for the rest of us mugs incurable optimists!

HellBunny · 04/07/2011 22:32

saggyoldclothcatpuss I'm 100% with you on the surgery. 4 pregnancies have turned my glorious globes into droopy and dripple!

Whats up with people that win but live exactly like they did before. How boring! Give it to me

bumpsoon · 04/07/2011 22:32

Fair enough , aslong as you give me £5,ooo as thats all i need for a happy life Grin, actually £500 would do !

stressheaderic · 04/07/2011 22:33

I took DD for a massive walk in the sun today and indulged in a massive and very detailed lottery fantasy all the way round the park. Even came home and looked on rightmove at houses in the area we'd move to if money was no object....

It's about time Lady Luck threw a bit my way. It's been nowt but doom and gloom recently

MrsSnaplegs · 04/07/2011 22:33

Sorry to disappoint you all but I have the winning ticket and I will still be going to work on Thursday Wink

PiousPrat · 04/07/2011 22:33

So, when I win tomorrow and start house shopping, what is the general consensus. Is it too ostentatious to have a library, swimming pool & a tennis court? Is 2 out of 3 ok and if so, which 2?

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 04/07/2011 22:34

......I could buy........Mumsnet!.....

PortBlacksandAgain · 04/07/2011 22:35

Are you suggesting that Justine et al would sell to you for a mere £154 million??? Shock

HellBunny · 04/07/2011 22:35

bumpsoon I'd settle for 500 right now too. It'd get rid of my Littlewoods bill and THAT would feel like winning the lottery!

OP posts:
HellBunny · 04/07/2011 22:37

PiousPrat You NEED to have the library and pool. It's a must in the home of any truly self-respecting rich bastard person

ThePathanKhansWoman · 04/07/2011 22:46

Too late Grin

nadia77 · 04/07/2011 22:52

wow when i win the lottery i will get a really big house wiv massive garden so my ds can stay outdoors all day! and get all the professionals needed to work wiv him (he's asd) atleast then the local authority cant tell me they cannot fund my son for our chosen school!

Ambi · 04/07/2011 22:57

I've done nothing but daydream about my lottery win, I actually can't decide what to spend it on first?

I have to remember to buy a ticket or ten though.

moonferret · 04/07/2011 22:59

Are you aware that the odds of winning are now 1 in 116,531,800? Unimaginably small odds designed to keep greedy people ploughing money in as the jackpot continues to roll over.

This couple had the right idea..both of them were "on the sick" and wisely invested their benefits in a ticket when the odds were a mere 1 in about 76million. They are now £4.8m richer than me.

PiousPrat · 04/07/2011 23:04

Thinking about it hell bunny the pool would be for me, the library would be for DS1 so really, I should get the tennis court as well so that DS2 has something just for him or I would be a terrible mother, right?

Oh and not forgetting DS3 but that's fine because my research on rightmove just now threw up a house with built in soft play room as well, so we would all be sorted. Except DP. He could have the kitchen as his room, or maybe one of the outbuildings to convert to a man den.

I feel so much better now I have it all sorted in my head Wink

FabbyChic · 04/07/2011 23:05

Its a ridiculous amount of money and too much for one person, it is too much for ten people shared let alone just one person.

OOAOML · 04/07/2011 23:16

I'd be happy to share the jackpot as long as it was a few million each.
