DH gone camping (OK not very 'D' as we had words last night, but he was thinking of going camping anyway so am not fussed in the least) and DD and DSS x2 both away on hols.

I have the remote, I will be getting something nice for the bath, some chocolates and some wine. A friend has been in touch wanting to go for coffee tomorrow morning. Would much prefer a morning on my own with the papers and endless mugs of tea. AIBU to want to spend all of the time I have available on my own? Or might I turn into a hairy hermit in a cave?

I have to have time by myself. A few years ago I realised my mental health really went down hill every August, but miraculously I always felt completely better within a couple of days of the Autumn term Hmm

Thankfully my dc are a bit older now and go out by themselves and I can get enough peace to keep to sane. I also get dh to take a week off and I go to work (holiday cover).

Ok. It would appear I am not an unsociable bugger. Thats an interesting one about only children. Does that apply to many of you?

I would normally shift up and make room for some of you on the sofa, and possibly even share the nibbles round, but that would rather defeat the purpose of the evening Grin

Oh and the Labrador will be on the bed too. Do I care if some of you think thats appalling? Do I buggery Grin
