Now Octomum hates her own children...

according to a recent interview. Now, I realise she has brought her predicament upon herself. AIBU to feel just a little bit sorry for this clearly unhinged woman?

She gets through tons of money having had at least 4 plastic surgical procedures, swanning off to the gym a lot, etc.

She doesn't need any more money.

I think two of the children with disabilities are the octuplits, the other was a toddler/baby when she got pregnant, so I don't think she realised regarding the number of disabled children and I don't think she realised she would have eight babies survive, as she had twins at most previously from the same number of embrio's being placed in her.

Three of her older six have disabilities, that's how she was raking in some much in benefits as it was.

Then she went and had more IVF with that number of eggs implanted.

She wanted to use up the last of her fertilised eggs, to prevent them being destroyed. She thought to naturally miscarry them, or them not take would be at least not her fault, IYSWIM. I feel so sorry for her.

What I don't really understand is why, as an alleged fan of cosmetic surgery herself, she has failed to get her son's cleft lip repaired. He's at least 2 years old, and most cleft surgery is done at around 3 months.

Cattleprod, that is dreadfull, why on earth leave him with that? I have known two children with that and it causes them difficulty in eating and drinking!

She has had a lot of surgery, you can't blame her for the tummy tuck and boob job (have you seen the pregnancy photos?) but she's had a lot of work on her face, which is very telling about her state of mind I think. She is courting media attention without much thought for her children's welfare. The "I hate the babies, they disgust me" rant is out there in the public domain for them to discover when they're old enough. She needs help.

Oh, she definitely needs help.

She's unable to provide a stable, decent home for all those children. So they should be removed to someone else who can.

But she'd rather the state pay to send in teams of carers 24/7 whilst she takes herself off to the plastic surgeon.

I think she's a woman in very desperate need of some trustworthy, reliable friends.
I feel very sorry for her and hope she gets some help from people who truly have the best interests of the family at heart.
She has not made wise choices, but we all make mistakes, and her support network seems to be flimsy at best.
I wouldn't get any satisfaction in castigating someone who is so obviously at the end of their tether.

Its the children that my sympathies are with. You make your bed, you have to lie in it. Yes she needs help, but those children also need a stable and consistant environment, it is impossible for Ms Suleman to do this, and they need fostering or adopting out. The children's welfare comes first.

Most of us are right, you dont just come about 14 children by 'accident' you make choices and she has made some really bad choices, and yes she has to live with them FACT!!!!

I know that I can only cope with 2 children, so that is only what I will have, so will never be in Mrs Sulemans position.

As I said she needs help and therapy, those children's welfare comes FIRST and they really need to be adopted so that they can have 'normal' stable and consistent lives and homes, which they are not going to get with Mrs suleman

I find the USA IVF clinics repulsive, you should have seen the paper work I had to sign to get two embryo's implanted and a nurse came up to me and asked repeatidly I did understand it could mean twins, you know 2 babies.
I only got one child, it's a miracle she got all 8 but she needs some full time help.
