I have new born of 9 weeks and DH refuses to do night feeds and bath. My DS wakes 2/3 times a night for a feed and I only recently stopped EBF at 8 weeks because he was feeding every 1.5 hours and I was exhausted. Have just had a kidney infection so this forced DH into feeding in afternoon and actually changing a nappy!!!Before I stopped work for ML I was main salary earner and still contribute each month, DH Works from home but from what I see he spends 4 hours at work, the rest on games/Internet. Ive asked him to help more but he won't, what can I do as I'm shocked by his old fashioned attitude

OP... What did you do regarding the care of DS1 when he was a baby? Did DH help with baths and feeds then?

If he did, why won't he now help with DS2? If he didn't, why do you think he would be different with DS2? Are you going to try for best of three? Confused

Sorry for being flippant, but some of the thread problems seem to have been entirely avoidable - or at least the OP of them can't fail to know the likely outcome.

I'd be letting 'DH' catch up on his own washing, cooking and whatever else until he starts sharing the work. He sounds very lazy and you sound very accommodating. Time for the worm to turn...

Yep he's playing on the net lol! I think looking at Bolton Wanders websites and army strategy games don't count as research for online retail electrical websites!! I think I've been too soft and let him get away with things. I agree with the people that say the people that work in the day should not do night feeds, it's some of the weekend ones and the fact that I was very I'll I'm p*ssed about, and that he won't do the bath. AnyWay I'm going out for tea with a friend and the boys now leaving him at home. Have given him specific instructions regarding putting washing in the tumble dryer so let's see how it goes!!! Thanks everyone
