please wear your flame proof judgey pants

What things do you see often, that really shock you?

For example, my friend uploaded a video to facebook of her doing some thing(playing with her baby), and in the back ground I can hear her toddler (he's 3ish) son moaning, her reply to him in a very loud voice "shut the fuck up"

which left me Shock

comments on this video - from her mother "delete this off here now before the social get a phone call" Hmm

So, what shocks you?

kazmus Can I get in your car with you?

The woman outside supermarket today who shouted at the top of her voice at her son (3ish) 'fuckin get ere con-oh. I've warned yoh' strode up to him, yanked his arm and dragged him away by bent arm.

Women who constantly tell me how wonderful, talented and popular their offspring are and expect me to err.. say what exactly?!!

Awomancalledhorse · 24/06/2011 16:51

People with no manners.
People properly swearing at kids (you litte bugger is fine, you fucking little cunt is not).
The stupid amount of money people spend on weddings/baby stuff.
That not many other people seem to think Bono & Bob Geldof are muff cabbage.
How shite pop music is nowdays.

bubblecoral · 24/06/2011 16:55

People that have the attitude that the world owes them a favour because of some bad thing they have to deal with that has probably happened to millions before them.

The price of petrol

People who speak roughly/swear at their children

People who let their pre-teen daughters wear outfit which make them look like trainee hookers

People who give their toddlers a large box of smarties to keep them quiet in the shops

All seen in town today. I try not to be too judgey but honestly there isn't any reason to tell a 3 year old to shut the fuck up, have a (approx.) 9 year old in a top baring a good foot of midriff in clingy white fabric (same with her trousers), and the toddler had what looked like two smartie packet's worth of chocolates in the Tupperware.

Cruelty to the most vulnerable in society (human or otherwise).

I don't sweat the small stuff but i can't get my head round that....

Hearing little kids swear - the darling child (aged about 8) I saw in the park this afternoon told me to Fuck Off when I asked him to step away from the top of the slide (just stood there not letting anyone go down) and later on called my DD a Fucking Bitch.

Seriously shocked me

LadyGok · 24/06/2011 17:03

People that stare at my sons cos they different. In fact growing thick skin in that regard.

Its the older lot that get my goat though "he needs a good smack" is what I hear a lot when one of them is in full on meltdown not a tantrum as they think.

Glitterknickaz · 24/06/2011 17:03

Any kind of cruelty, towards human or animal.

bubblecoral · 24/06/2011 17:04

Can't afford 'proper' coffee. Grin

maryellenwalton · 24/06/2011 17:17

The fact that disabilism is still nowhere near as unacceptable as racism or homophobia. Just this afternoon I heard a group of schoolkids calling each other 'retard' and laughing like it was the best joke ever

yy the price of petrol!
