Aibu to wonder why people having thier smelly feet chowed on by poor captive fish is public entertainment?

Having a perfectly nice browse around the shops this afternoon when I came across this fish pedicure stand, right in the middle of the shopping centre.
I don't even have a probloem with feet generally but just yuk!
What next public ear cleaning, group colonics??

Was this in topshop, I saw it last week in their flagship store on the footwear floor. I wouldn't do it outside of a reputable salon.

Substituting the goldfish for piranhas on the other hand would be public entertainment. I have no idea why people would want to have this done, what's wrong with a pumice stone?

We have one of those eyebrow stands. I wouldn't mind getting my eyebrows done but they also do chin, sides of face and upper lip threading. I would draw the line at getting my chinbeard, burners and muzzy threaded in full view of shoppers!

Threading is another thing I don't get. Too painful and I had it done once and the woman was ripping tiny hairs off my forehead with the bloody thread once she'd done my brows. I did point out I am not a golden retriever, my face really isn't that hairy. Or wasn't.
