BitOfFun · 17/06/2011 15:13

omething?

RabidRabbit · 17/06/2011 15:14

YANBU. It's a 15 isn't it? Not the sort of thing I'd want my 9 year old watching.

nicespam · 17/06/2011 15:14

it does look like a kids film from what i've seen of it tbh

LineRunner · 17/06/2011 15:15

How did he get in, then? If it's a 15.

CheerfulYank · 17/06/2011 15:17

Here kids can get into any movie with a parent as long as it's not NC-17, which is very rare.

We leave it up to the parents' discretion.

Unfortunately. Wink

BOF I'm not sure. I'll look for the tell-tale signs when I clean the bathrooms next :o

I've heard worse tbh.
My brother's ex allowed her dd to watch Child's Play when she was 3. Poor girl was terrified of tteddies.
Girl had also watched the exorcist (she was 5) I'm nearly 30 and don't like the exorcist.

After that the hangover is pretty tame really.

CheerfulYank · 17/06/2011 16:26

It's a small town cupnoodle , and I work at the school. I know how old all the kids are. :)

I dunno. I used to bribe mine to stay alone in hotel rooms while I went to the bar by giving them the remote and telling them they could watch unsuitable telly.

MIFLAW · 17/06/2011 16:30

"it does look like a kids film from what i've seen of it tbh" - it's called the Hangover part II. Is that not a clue that it is not primarily aimed at 9 year olds?

serajen · 17/06/2011 17:16

Am with you Hully !!!

Hullygully · 17/06/2011 17:18

Mind, I'm not saying my approach is correct, just thta I don't think I'd be a suitable judge of ol Cheerful's judgey pants.

barbie007 · 17/06/2011 17:21

I don't think you're being judgey at all....a 9 year old? That's awful. He should be watching cartoons

TennisFan · 17/06/2011 17:21

Friends of mine take their kids to see lots of unsuitable IMO movies. I must admit I too am a bit judgey - although i did take DD (nearly 8) to see Pirates of the Caribean 3 which might be a 12A

Spuddybean · 17/06/2011 17:25

When i went to the cinema to see the last king of scotland (sunday matinee) there were parents in there with children (between 6 and 10 years old i reckon). I'm sure they thought they were being very worthy and liberal and educational but i thought it was horrific.

nicespam · 17/06/2011 17:25

Grin i know it's not aimed at 9 year olds i was being sarcastic! should have added a Hmm

CheerfulYank · 17/06/2011 17:56

I mean, ((((SPOILERS!!!!))) between the drugs, the cutting off of fingers, the monkey giving blowjobs, the trans hooker saying "it's called BangKOK, honey, not BangCUNT", the insinuation that you could buy a child for $2000...I was a bit Hmm

:o at hully ...feel free to judge my judgey pants! I'm a total prude when it comes to stuff like this.
