I am in serious need of cake and none of my horrible uncaring family will go and get me some.

I thought I could persuade DD to go if I let her take my car, but oh no. She's far too bloody straightlaced to consider th idea.

she also won't get piercings and flatly refuses to dye her hair pink. she worrys me.

And bloody lazy git DH won't go either.

have you breath-tested her, Cervix maybe she's too drunk to drive?

MaureenMLove · 15/06/2011 20:55

How far away from South London do you live Cervix? My 15 year old would probably go for you! Grin

devientenigma · 15/06/2011 20:55

would anyone like to swap for my 14yo dd?? The only thing is she works in a bar at weekends so is in quite late.
P>S oldraver love the name, takes me back........................to sitting in the car earlier, blasting the odd old skool, proper choons!!

WineAndPizza · 15/06/2011 20:56

Ha - would kittens be that well behaved? Surely they'd escape through the catflap every now and then.

WineAndPizza · 15/06/2011 20:57

Fair enough Zukie...each to their own!

Left my DS home alone for three hours tonight.
Porn?
Booze?
Dope?
Frenetic sex?

No
He's scrubbed my kitchen to operating theatre standards.
I feel criticised.

BoattoBolivia · 15/06/2011 21:03

My uncle and aunt were total 60s drop outs living on a sheep farm in Wales. My cousin's poor attempt at rebellion at 16 was to rent a penguin suit for another cousin's wedding, when his father had refused to!

CurlyBoy · 15/06/2011 21:13

And I thought this was a thread about girls and auto repair and how they don't mix and that's why your daughter shouldn't take your car to the shop.

Now that I know it's about cake I understand completely. I think you are being unreasonable because you should ALWAYS have an emergency cake stash handy.

oldraver · 15/06/2011 21:39

devientenigma you mean as my DS would call it 'boom boom' music

He is a supervisor at a club in Middlesbrough (while studying Criminology) and told me "Mum we had Ravers in..... they drank water, and were still raring to go while we (the bar staff) were tired and ready for bed".... with great disdain

Ripeberry · 15/06/2011 21:47

When I was 18yrs old and driving, my mum was mad at me for NOT going to her friends and getting some 'hash' for her.
I would collect anything else, but not drugs Angry and at the time she called me an 'old lady' Hmm

devientenigma · 15/06/2011 22:00

oldraver Middlesbrough?? so if he hasn't went far, here's a few throw backs.........judgement day, unity, rez, after dark, venue........ mind criminology sounds great. The ravers sound even better!!!
Sorry hijacked the thread without having cake to offer, will a Biscuit do??

sugar it's nearly midnight lol, I came across a box full of videos the other day and there was a couple of fantazia ones there and an ultrasonic live.

VivaLeBeaver · 15/06/2011 23:31

Ooooh, I studied criminology at middlesborough.

garlicnutter · 15/06/2011 23:34

oldraver, you did tell him about the drugs?

Or are you going to let him carry on believing Water Makes You Go All Night?
Mind you, at my age, it does that ... Blush

garlicnutter · 15/06/2011 23:35

I was at Teesside, too, Viva! Excellent place to study criminology Grin Hmm

Although, I hasten to add, it was a long time ago and the Boro may have changed radically since then.

ThatVikRinA22 · 15/06/2011 23:36

i send mine that Tesco shop now for me some wine....he goes willingly - every night he says "im off to the shop - you want anything?"

he always takes his ID. oh the shame of it. where did i go wrong?

VivaLeBeaver · 16/06/2011 07:30

I graduated in 1997 and haven't been back since. I hear that a load of streets off Linthorpe Rd were bulldozed. Princess Rd area.

StealthPolarBear · 16/06/2011 07:33

PMSL at this thread, especially the penguin suit rebellion
Why are penguins just so comical? If you haven;t taught your toddlers to do a penguin walk, please do, it is so worth it.

StealthPolarBear · 16/06/2011 07:34

OP I realise this was yesterday, but next time maybe offer her a bottle of smirnoff ice for the journey?
