to take an evening course doing flower arrranging

I really really would love to know how to arrange flowers in the home nicely.

Is it naff to do a course on flower arranging, people always seem to snigger when they mention those courses.

Also - if i know how to do it properly, will it be cheaper to do my own than to buy premade arrangements.

I'd say yes go for it, the skills you'll learn will be fascinating and you'll enjoy the creativity, but I'm biased (I'm a qualified though not practising florist).

That's another option - if you aren't working or work PT you might like to consider a floristry course and go the whole hog.

Do it. That one, Judith something, famous florist, does day courses -maybe look for those instead of evening ones? But I doubt they'll be much less, what would you expect to pay?

I was given the most gorgeous bunch of flowers yesterday and haven't done them justice, it's a skill I'd love to have. I've cracked mixed bunches from the garden but have the unfortunate knack of making anything else look wonky.
