Im with tomhardy, branston are lovely, put me off heinz, I acyually now think of heinz as bullet beans

I used to work in a care home and managed shopping and mealplans. I added jacket potato with branston beans to the menu and some moron dished up, pickle and beans . I had to be very specific as staff struggled with the concept of value for money and budgeting, obviously not specific enough.

I buy store brand but cook them for longer so they are less runny.

My bug is red peppers, 80p for one. But you can buy a pack of three peppers (one of red, orange & green) for £1.

We don't eat the green one but that's still 20p for an extra pepper.

Food in general is a nightmare. The children have beans on toast after school dinners once a week.
