To be slightly concerned about my neighbours?

My house is on a corner, with a patch of communal grass in front of it. In front of this grass, each house on the corner has it's own parking space.

Yesterday, a neighbour had a huge caravan delivered, onto his parking space. We assumed they were going away for the weekend in it, loading it up etc - not a problem.

However, I'm a bit concerned that it may be a bit more permanent. Having had a sneaky nosy when I walked past, they've got an enormous tv in there, with a mains lead running from the house, and there were lights on inside the caravan last night. Today they've fixed an aerial onto the caravan - the sort you'd have on a house rather than a proper caravan aerial.

I'm all for live and let live as far as neighbours are concerned, but I'm not sure I like the idea of people "living" in a caravan right outside my house - if it does turn out to be a permanent arrangement, are they allowed to do that?

Oh yes, forgot about the 2 different water bills.

I still don't really understand why we have to have the management co, it's like paying a leaseholder when the houses are freehold. But then my house was very cheap, and it's incredibly solid and roomy, and I've finally got rid of the magnolia woodchip in every single sodding room, so it's not all bad Grin.

Ginger Aah, but our original management co disappeared a few years back, some kind of dodgy practice going on, so a new one was formed where the directors are residents on the estate. They evidently have no other life than to send out snippy letters reminding residents of the petty rules, the fences one being particularly high on their list of priorities!

We got rid about 6 years ago..especially since the village is going to self implode when the camp closes next year.

your residents sound like mine - but yes the house was cheap at the time and is solid and the rooms are big - we too have finally banished the magnolia.

it's childrens toys and the grass in the front gardens that our man co love to moan about

we also had the 'dodgy' co - ours were called GEM

Ginger where are you?

We WERE in Wiltshire.
